What technologies do you use?

DesignThat uses WordPress in creating sites and we are using pre-designed themes to customise the look and feel of your business. We will add custom images to suit the industry of your business or your chosen style and we will also customise your font types, and colour choices within the theme.

We will also install applicable, safe and necessary plugins that are needed to perform the basic functions of your website.

Should you require customization that requires a premium plugin, code or addons you will be quoted the costs.

I am just starting out, what package should I go with?

"I am just running a small business that just needs a website to connect me with my customers online and display the services I offer. I am unsure of which package will be suitable for me. Please help me choose."

This is dependent on the services that you are going to be offering the basics in finding the right package to choose are:

You need to set aside 3 pages that are going to be basic displays and key pages for your website and will lead your visitors to your other pages and increase conversion these pages are 1. your home page that will lead your visitors to other pages on your site and make the visitor want to view more about your business. 2. The next page will be the about page which will give the visitor more in-depth information about your business. 3. The next page will be the contact form page which will allow your visitor to contact you via a contact form, your social channels, email, phone and more.
The more pages the better! The more pages your website has the more it ranks on Google Search whenever someone searches for something related to any of your services offered or just the name of your business. So it would be advisable to list down the services that you offer and for each service offered dedicate a page to it to increase your Google Search rankings. For example, Sipho owns a car dealership so he will need to list all the vehicle brands that he has in his shop and dedicate a page to them and also do the same with any addons that his business may offer.

What happens when I cancel?

We give you the option of cancelling your web design packages at any time, should you decide to cancel you need to be aware that you will not be able to take your website with you to another hosting company or downgrade to our standard shared hosting plans.

Should you wish to transfer your domain to another registrar you will be charged the full standard registration fee for the domain plus the renewal fee.

The build of the website will be maintained by DesignThat and is only available in this package.

To request a transfer of your domain please submit a ticket.

Can I enable selling?

Yes, you may if you want to (done by you).

How do I pay for your services?

You can pay for our services using your debit or credit card, bank transfer, bank deposit, EFT, Bitcoin and more.

How long are your subscriptions? Can I change plans?

Our subscriptions last for as long as you are with us. If you decide to cancel your package, you will be required to pay the remaining amount for the year if you are paying monthly. You can change plans.
